Build a valid XML sitemap for Google Search Console. Set priority, change frequency, and last modified dates. Download or copy the complete sitemap.xml.
A sitemap tells Google exactly which pages exist on your site and when they were last updated. While Google discovers pages by crawling links, a sitemap ensures new and updated pages are found faster — especially important on large sites or sites with weak internal linking.
Submit your sitemap in Google Search Console under Sitemaps. After submission, Google reports how many URLs it found and indexed, giving direct visibility into crawl status.
